Nature Play in the Green

Join us in the Sea School Green for our 2018 Nature Play Programming. During each monthly program, the Green will be open to the public between 10:00am-12:00pm for fun and engaging self-guided activities, crafts, or to just run around! March 24 –Bird Feeders – join us as we make bird feeders for local and migrating song birds

April 21 – Earth Day Boat building – using items scavenged from the Green, participants will build a boat and test seaworthiness on a stream

May 5– Salamander Day! – we’ll search for amphibians and make back yard habitats for these amazing animals!

June 9 – Mud Day – painting with mud, making mud pies and just getting muddy.

July 14 – Nature Art – let nature be your muse by creating leafy creatures, fairy houses, and more out of natural products

Pancakes with Penguins

Plan ahead and reserve your tickets for Pancakes with Penguins, a fun event to kick-start your day.
Your breakfast experience will include a visit from one of our African penguins and our mascot Petey the Penguin.

Breakfast is served buffet style from 8 a.m. to 9 a.m. and includes pancakes with assorted toppings, scrambled eggs, sausage and various beverages. If you prefer or need gluten-free pancakes, please call our reservation line and let them know.

Tickets are $24.95 adult (11 yrs & up) and $20.95 child (10yrs and under).

Don’t want to leave? Aquarium admission tickets can be purchased for an additional $10 each. Tickets must be used the same day and purchased in advance by calling our reservations department at 860.572.5955 ext 520.

Tickets will not be available for purchase at the gate.
Ticket sales end at 8am on the Friday prior to the event.

$10 Aquarium Admission available only when combined with advance Pancakes with Penguin purchase.

Tickets are non-refundable and non-transferable once purchased.

Prosecco with Penguins

Unwind with beautiful underwater views as you sip, socialize and visit with one of Mystic Aquarium’s most popular animals. Held in the Aquarium’s Main Gallery, you’ll enjoy the tranquil surroundings as you drink cocktails with friends and snack on gourmet bites. Take a moment to meet an African penguin between 6:30pm and 7:30pm and learn about this magnificent animal from an Aquarium trainer.
